The patient journey

Every step of a TRT pathway, already built.

The order patients and clinicians move through, with nothing to stitch together from separate suppliers.

  • 01
Symptom questionnairePatients complete the Ageing Males' Symptoms scale before their first test. Clinicians see every answer and the total score on the patient's record.
  • 02
First blood testA home finger-prick kit, a Tasso+ upper-arm device or a nurse home visit, ordered automatically once the patient pays. Either diagnosis test can come first.
  • 03
Confirmatory testUK guidance asks for two early-morning measurements before diagnosing testosterone deficiency. The clinician orders the second test after reviewing the first, and the saved card is charged only then. Results the patient already has from another provider can stand in when the clinician accepts them.
  • 04
Clinician reviewEvery result waits for a clinician, with a draft note they edit before release. Laboratory escalations for abnormal results are tracked to acknowledgement.
  • 05
ConsultationThe patient books a video consultation, or the clinician agrees the plan by message where your service runs that way.
  • 06
Treatment and dispensingThe clinician writes the plan (medicine, dose, frequency), the patient agrees the price, and each delivery is charged to the saved card before the prescription reaches the pharmacy. Testosterone is a Schedule 4 Part 2 controlled drug, so each prescription is valid for 28 days and the platform works within that.
  • 07
MonitoringMonitoring blood tests on schedule (including testosterone, haematocrit and PSA), reviewed and released like the first ones, with dose changes and other treatments such as erectile dysfunction care added from the same record.
Blood collection

Four ways to take the blood, one results flow.

TRT needs both a capillary and a venous option. Patients choose what suits them; your clinicians see every result in the same place.

Home finger-prick kit

Posted to the patient with tracked delivery and a prepaid return pack. The everyday choice for testosterone, women's health, weight-loss and monitoring panels.

At home

Tasso+ upper-arm device

The patient presses one button on the upper arm and the device collects the sample. No finger prick, which suits patients who find lancets hard.

At home

Nurse home visit

A nurse visits the patient at home and takes a venous sample, for panels that need one such as the TRT confirmatory profile.

Venous, at home

Partner clinic

A venous draw at a partner clinic near the patient, where the laboratory's clinic network covers their area.

Venous, in clinic
Kits and visits are ordered automatically once the patient pays, through our API connections to national UK laboratory partners. The patient's mobile number is taken at checkout and passed to the lab, so they get texts about their kit and a call to book any visit. Your team can also order a test for a patient from another platform, with a payment link or as already paid.
Two ways to run it

Your prescribers, or ours.

Included

The platform behind the service.

Your own patient site

Product pages, a short checkout that asks only what the lab and prescriber need, and a patient account with results, orders and messages, on your domain.

Results reviewed before release

Every result waits for a clinician, who releases it with a note. Patients get a results report in your brand, never the lab's, and can follow each marker over time.

Abnormal result escalations

When the laboratory escalates a result, the care team is alerted by level and deadline, records each contact with the patient and acknowledges it to the lab.

Allocation for your clinicians

Allocate patients to prescribers, let senior clinicians pull more work, and let any prescriber escalate a case to a colleague with a reason.

Payments and repeat billing

Card and wallet payments, a saved card for later tests and treatment, and billing per delivery that stays in step with what the pharmacy sends.

Emails and texts in your brand

Kit, booking, results and delivery messages carry your name and colours, with appointment links staff can resend by email or SMS.

FAQ

TRT clinic questions, answered.

Can I run a private TRT clinic in the UK?
Yes. Testosterone is a prescription-only medicine and a Schedule 4 Part 2 controlled drug, so a registered prescriber must assess each patient and prescribe, and it must be dispensed by a registered pharmacy. Clinics providing regulated activities in England also need CQC registration. On PExpo, dispensing runs through our GPhC-registered pharmacy partner.
Do we need our own prescribers?
Not necessarily. Clinics with prescribers use their own team on the platform. Brands without one launch on the white-label model, where registered UK prescribers from our clinical network review results and prescribe.
Which blood tests does a TRT patient have?
Two diagnosis tests (a home test and a venous confirmatory profile, in either order), then monitoring tests on the schedule the clinician sets, including testosterone, haematocrit and PSA. Samples can be taken with a home finger-prick kit, a Tasso+ device, a nurse home visit or at a partner clinic.
What happens when a result is abnormal?
The laboratory escalates it with a level and a deadline. Your care team is alerted at once and again before the deadline, records each contact with the patient, and a clinician acknowledges it to the lab after reviewing the results.
How long does it take to launch?
Typically 3 to 6 weeks from signing, depending on your branding, pricing and clinical sign-off.
What does it cost?
It depends on the model and your volumes. See pricing, or create your clinic account and we will set it up with you.
