The starting point
Farmeci offers free online consultations: a patient answers a questionnaire, a UK-registered clinician reviews the answers and medical history and decides whether treatment is appropriate, and Farmeci's GPhC-registered pharmacy team dispenses what is approved.
Several treatments need blood results before a clinician can decide, and patients increasingly want to check their health at home. Building a lab operation, kit logistics and results reporting in house would have pulled the pharmacy team away from the work only they can do.
What runs on PExpo
Home blood test kits, in Farmeci's name
Farmeci sells PExpo Diagnostics kits as its own. PExpo handles the kits, the accredited UK lab and the results; the patient only ever sees Farmeci.
Consultation questionnaires
One questionnaire per treatment, with answers that pass, go to a clinician for review, or stop the order. Each questionnaire is approved clinically before it goes live.
Clinician review and dispensing
Approved orders move straight to the pharmacy queue, with labels, tracked delivery and the patient kept informed by email.
A testosterone pathway with blood tests built in
Farmeci is rolling out a testosterone pathway where the patient completes a finger-prick test and a venous profile before the consultation. A clinician reviews each result and decides the next step.
Taking it to Germany
Farmeci is preparing a German service on the PExpo EU platform: a German-language patient website, payments in euros and the same clinical review and audit trail as in the UK. Because the platform already supports German, French, Italian and Dutch, the work is in the clinical content and the local rules, not in rebuilding the technology.
What this means for your brand
Everything Farmeci uses is available to any clinic or brand on PExpo: the diagnostics kits, the questionnaire builder with clinical sign-off, the prescriber review queue, dispensing and payments in pounds, euros and dollars. You choose the treatments and the brand; the infrastructure is already there.
